Demo: Authentication
Enterprise Level Authentication using WorkOS
WorkOs
Free for up to 1 million users
WorkOS is a great way to add authentication to your application and saves you time and money on the development side and also provides an out of the box user management interface. The best thing about WorkOS is that it is completely free for up to 1,000,000 users. For more options including more branding (your domain) and SSO (Single Sign On) WorkOs has paid accounts (WorkOS website: https://workos.com). My demo uses a free sandbox account but if you register a credit card with them, we'll be able to use custom URLs. To test the WorkOS login, click here
Notes: while WorkOS provides regular user logins using their email and a password with requirements, I did not implement that functionality in this demo and I side with security experts that eschew it in favor of a more secure authentication process. More importantly, people tend to not remember their passwords, therefore it's a highly inefficient way to authenticate users, requiring a password reset which users may grow tired of.
This demo's purpose is strictly to demonstrate the authentication process using WorkOS, please review my other demos for more Laravel examples.
